In the manner of GILLOWS OF LANCASTER & LONDON (1730-1903) William IV Flamed Mahogany Two Tier Chiffonier in the manner of Gillows (c. 1830 England)

As one would expect from Gillows furniture, the quality is exceptional and this two door chiffonier is made with the finest veneers of the day. The ring-turned supports are similar to some turnings on a pair of bookcases at Broughton Hall, Lancashire. The sweep gallery is also typical of the manufacturer. Overall, the proportions, colour and patination are wonderful.
