Description / Expertise

This very smart vitrine is English, but in the French Louis XV style.
It has a rosewood framed hinged top with bevelled glass and is decorated in marquetry of boxwood and satinwood. It is mounted throughout with gilded bronzes and is lined in silk.
It was made C.1870.
