Unusual Regency Book Tray (c. 1815 United Kingdom)

Circa 1815, unusual Regency book tray, with a complete wrap over lifting handle. The base itself has a full cast brass and gilded gallery, below which is a fore edge and a beaded base. The whole piece stands on 4 squat bun feet. Unusual Regency book slide.

Size 18cm high x 38cm wide x 26cm deep.
