Set of Eight Edwardian Mahogany Hepplewhite Design Antique Dining Chairs.
Consisting of two carvers and six dining chairs, this set of eight Edwardian mahogany Hepplewhite design antique dining chairs date from around 1910. They have Hepplewhite designed backs and stand on splayed back legs and squared front legs with the added benefit of a ‘H’ stretcher for that extra stability. They have been recently upholstered in a neutral, mushroom coloured, fabric and are a dark mahogany with a striking grain, good patina, are in very good condition and have been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
