Large Edwardian Walnut Open Antique Bookcase.
This stately Edwardian walnut open antique bookcase, circa 1900, provides a large amount of practical space for either a library of books or for displaying those treasured possessions. It has a rectangular moulded top above five shelves, four of which are adjustable. The antique bookcase has moulded edges, stands on shaped feet and has a scrolled plinth, it has the usual marks from age and use which only add to its overall character. It is a dark walnut with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
