Large, Antique, Early Victorian Mahogany Tilt Top Dining Table.
This classic antique early Victorian mahogany dining table, circa 1840, has large proportions for a tilt top table but is a practical size for modern day living. The large top tilts on its original brass mechanism and stands on a bulbous octagonal pedestal with a quadriform base and turned bun feet with castors. The antique table is a medium, red mahogany with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
