Description / Expertise

This English silver Sugar caster has a beautiful Art Nouveau design. The lid slots into the caster and has pierced scroll work for the sugar. It is topped with silver finial. The sides of the main body crown the lid and are decorated with flowing carved lines. The main body has applied silver lines which segment the caster and give the appearance of petals. The caster tapers down to a stem and a round base with stepped sides.
