Early Victorian Mahogany Armchair/Desk Chair (c. 1850 United Kingdom)

Circa 1850, very early Victorian mahogany armchair/desk chair. The solid mahogany curved top rail has 2 generous arms coming off it which finish in a small scroll, supported by stylised carved uprights. The chair has a recently reupholstered leather seat, and below the seat is a simple frieze and the front legs are turned and tapering and the back legs are swept . Excellent colour and condition.
