Antique Victorian Cuban Mahogany Partners – Office Desk
This beautiful antique Victorian Cuban mahogany partners desk / office desk ca 1890 has a rectangular moulded top with a green tooled leather writing insert above a deep central drawer above a kneehole. The left pedestal has four graduating drawers with original brass handles and the right pedestal has one drawer over a cupboard with raised fielded panels and the interior has three working drawers. The sides of the antique desk have fielded panels and the back of the desk has a deep frieze and the left pedestal has three graduating drawers and the right pedestal has a cupboard door concealing working drawers. This beautiful piece of antique furniture splits into three sections for ease of removals, is a rich dark mahogany colour with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
