This stunning large antique Regency rosewood library bookcase ca 1830 has a moulded cornice above three glazed doors with moulding, replacement rococo brass key escutcheons key and working locks. All three sections have four adjustable shelves. The lower section has a rectangular moulded top above three beautifully figured cupboard doors and each interior has one fixed shelf. The antique bookcase stands on a plain plinth, is unusual and that it has been constructed from rosewood, splits into three sections for ease of removals, is a rich warm medium rosewood colour with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
