This striking Regency mahogany sofa table / writing table ca 1830 has a rectangular top with two drop leaves with string inlay and reeded edges. The antique sofa table has one working drawer and one faux drawer at each side with brass handles and ebony string inlay. This beautiful piece of antique furniture stands on four elegant turned legs, is a rich medium mahogany with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
