Antique Regency Mahogany Double Wardrobe
This beautiful antique Regency mahogany double wardrobe ca 1820 has a moulded cornice above a deep frieze over two cupboard doors with flamed mahogany central panels, ebony string inlay, key and working lock. The interior has a later hanging rail. The lower section has two deep drawers with replacement brass handles, ebony string inlay, a shaped apron and splayed bracket feet. The wardrobe has some later adjustments and splits into smaller sections for ease of removals, is a rich medium mahogany colour with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
