This striking antique Victorian mahogany linen press / clothes press ca 1860 has a moulded cornice above two cupboard doors with arched moulded panels, key and working lock and the interior has four mahogany lined sliding linen trays .
The lower section has a rectangular moulded top above two over two graduating mahogany lined drawers with moulded edges and turned mahogany handles and the piece stands on turned bun feet (the back two are slightly different). The press splits into three sections for ease of removals and is a rich medium mahogany colour with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
