Antique William IV Flamed Mahogany Chiffonier
This stunning antique William IV flamed mahogany chiffonier / small sideboard ca 1835 has a raised shaped back with an upper tier and beautiful turned column supports. The lower section has a rectangular top above a shaped frieze drawer and two cupboard doors with arched flamed mahogany panels with columns at the sides. The interior has two adjustable shelves and the chiffonier stands on an inverted breakfront moulded plinth with small turned bun feet. The back boards are original, and the chiffonier is a rich medium mahogany colour with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
