This beautiful antique Victorian walnut bookcase on cupboard ca 1880 has a moulded cornice above two glazed doors with moulded edges key and working lock. The interior has three adjustable shelves and the bookcase has beautifully carved corbels. The lower section has a rectangular top above a frieze drawer with original handles, two beautifully carved corbels and two cupboard doors with moulded edges. The interior has one fixed shelf. The bookcase cupboard stands on a plain plinth, splits into two sections for ease of removals, is a rich medium mahogany colour with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
