The movement has been serviced and is guaranteed for 12 months. the case retains a good aged patina, although the hood has had alterations within its lifetime.

A slender and rich coloured golden oak long case clock. It has an 11" brass dial with a silvered chapter ring a date window and a signature plaque inscribed "Philip Avenall Farnham". It has an interesting 30 hour movement which is typical of this maker. The case has a flat top hood (with alterations) and a long door. c.1760
